Every note, no matter how perfectly played, is still a wrong note if it isn't played at the right time. Troy teaches you everything from the ground up and quickly increases the difficulty, so you're always challenged. Plus, learning songs keeps you engaged and prevents the boredom you might feel with random rhythm exercises you find on YouTube that don't actually add value. For me, this was one of the most beneficial courses I've ever taken. I can't wait for the lead guitar course. Keep it up, Troy!

I grew up with speed mechanics for lead guitar and progressed wildly in technique. this course has me excited to learn about music theory and elevate myself as a musician. i definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to take a serious crack at learning guitar

The guitar-pro file we get for each session has very good exercises and just the right amount to keep me busy between the monthly sessions while still being able to work on my other exercises. I appreciated the chance to play them during the session and get awesome feedback from you. For me that's the best value of it all. Nothing is better than personal feedback. Also, I'm using that experience to get comfortable, playing live in front of others - because that's the goal we all have, right?
